RAVEN®
Invisible Fluorocarbon Leader Line
Raven leader line is made of 100% fluorocarbon
material making it virtually invisible. This supple line has low
memory, excellent breaking strength and very good abrasion
resistance. High density RAVEN INVISIBLE fluorocarbon sinks faster
than nylon lines, allowing the bait to run naturally along the
bottom.
The 30m (33yd) spool is available in four strengths.

Leader Line:
Fluorocarbon line has become the Steelheaders leader of choice.
Fluorocarbon is much less visible under water than regular nylon
monofilament (making bait presentation more natural) and offers superior
abrasion resistance right where you need it.
Selecting Gear
Line Rating: small bait and hook = light line (3.4 or 4.5lb) and large
bait and hook = heavier line (5.6, 6.8 or 8.4lb)
Increase leader strength to deal with snags or strong current.

RAVEN®
Main Line
This premium quality monofilament has excellent
abrasion resistance and high breaking strength. RAVEN MAIN LINE’s
supple formulation and high buoyancy makes it ideal for float
fishing.
The 1/8lb and 1/2lb bulk spools are available
in four strengths and four colours.

Main Line:
Float fisherman have a few more criteria to consider, than just abrasion
resistance and high strength, when looking for a good main line;
neither to soft (twist and tangles easily) nor to stiff (casts poorly)
thin diameter (less wind resistance and more natural presentation)
high buoyancy (making it easy to mend on the surface of the water)
Selecting Gear
Line Rating: Main line should be at least 2 - 4lbs heavier than the
leader line (so only the leader will break off when snagged).
Colour: Run high visibility line to keep track of your float and
help prevent tangle-ups in crowded venues. Use low visibility line for a
more natural presentation in clear water.
